You are good at reading stories in books. There are lots of other places to read things. Where else can we read stories and messages? Why do we read signposts and notices?

Have you ever been lost? The man in this story was lost and hungry. He met an old woman who had no food for him, so he played a trick on her. He made soup for them both. He put a stone in the pot, then he got the old woman to put in lots of good food.

Have you ever seen a scarecrow in a garden? It helps to scare away the birds that want to eat things that grow there. It is fun to make a scarecrow.

There are many kinds of dances. People in different countries have their own special ways of dancing. They all have music to dance to. Some people like to sing as they dance. How do you like to dance?

Are you good at counting? Lots of things have wheels to make them move. Some things have only one wheel and some things have lots of wheels. Can you count the wheels?

Do you know some animals that have spots? Which animals have stripes? Where do they live? What colors are they?

Have you played this game called Tug-of-War? Two teams line up at each end of a rope. Each team tries to pull the other team over a line. Will the farm animals be stronger than the wild animals?

Have you ever seen a hot-air balloon? Hot-air balloons can go up very high. Max Monkey went for a ride in a hot-air balloon. It went up very high and something funny happened.

Can you go fast? Do you run fast? How can you have a fast ride? What are some things that can go fast? Which animals can go fast?

When you paint a picture, you can choose the best paint to use. What would you use to paint an elephant? What would you paint with pink or purple?

Sometimes we are glad to have a friend to help us with things we are doing. A friend can help us to play a game or to make something. Friends can fix things, too, or help us when something is hard to do by ourselves.
